Learn the basics of giving and receiving massage at home in this welcoming, hands‑on partner class designed for couples, close friends, or anyone attending with someone they feel comfortable practicing with. This one‑time event teaches simple, approachable techniques for the hands, feet, neck, shoulders, and face - with space to explore additional areas based on the needs and requests of the group.

Together, you’ll learn how to communicate clearly about pressure and comfort, how to pace your touch with intention, and how to bring more presence, care, and energetic awareness into the way you support one another. No massage experience is required; everything is taught slowly, accessibly, and with plenty of guidance.

You’ll leave feeling more confident in your hands, more connected to your own sense of presence, and more comfortable giving and receiving nurturing touch with someone you trust. And you’ll walk away with practical techniques you can actually use at home.

Meet Mariel

Hi, I’m Mariel — a licensed massage therapist, Reiki Master, and intuitive healer. I specialize in blending bodywork and energy healing to support nervous system regulation, integration, and whole-self wellness.

With a double bachelor’s degree in Biological Anthropology and Religious Studies from the University of Pittsburgh, my path has led me through neuroscience research, archaeology, and ecological design before discovering my true calling in hands-on healing.

I began my Reiki journey in 2020 and received my Master attunement in 2023. Though I carry the title of Master, I remain a dedicated student — currently apprenticing with two Reiki teachers, collaborating with fellow practitioners, and studying intuitive energy healing with an international psychic based in Australia.

Originally from Pittsburgh, I now call Chattanooga home. When I’m not in the treatment room, you’ll find me hiking local trails, tending my plants, listening to live music, fishing, paddling, swimming in creeks, or spending quiet time with my husband and our four beloved cats.
